Name THE MICROARRAY ANALYSIS SYSTEM - TREBAX -
Aliases TREBAX
Description The Micro array analysis system TREBAX is a computer system that makes possible the analysis and evaluation of genetic expression profiles, molecular biological function and effective assignment of corresponding DNA nucleotides by mainly manipulating data derived from spot type array methods (cDNA Micro array methods). Moreover, TREBAX can also be applied to the analysis of any type of data other than cDNA micro array data by only modifying the respective input format. Input example Analysis method of a single micro array: (1)Data pre-processing Clicking Partial Av.Scaing button, TREBAX lowers the bias difference between the two cDNA micro array experiments a pre-processing of the array data. (2)Merging and unification with the master data Correspondence of the micro array spots ID’s with the respective gene names is obtained clicking on the InfMergevia.MasterFile button. Clicking the Plotter button a two dimensional plot for each gene name can be obtained which shows the relationship of the logarithmic correction term and the average of the logarithm of the intensities. (3)Analysis of gene function classification With the “Statistics for all ArrayData” button, one can obtain genes having undergone changes in expression quantities within an interval pre set by the user. Furthermore, the gene distribution in each function category can also be output.
